Furoshiki from Kyoto “Musumi” is back in stock
Share
Furoshiki, a traditional Japanese cloth for wrapping things, has a history of over 1000 years. It has been used under different names over the years. Furoshiki has faded into obscurity with the advent of paper bags, but with the introduction of charges for plastic bags in 2020, they have started to attract attention as eco-friendly bags.
``Musubi'' is disseminating ``FUROSHIKI'' as a living culture that continues to evolve, not only to Japan but also to countries around the world. We would like to introduce you to Musubi's new type of furoshiki, which is a tool for everyday life but also has an artistic feel, which leads to a sustainable lifestyle.
“Aqua Drop”
A furoshiki that repels water. It features strong water repellency and thin, soft material that can carry water.
It can be used not only for everyday use such as eco bags, but also for outdoor activities, sports, and disaster prevention. Just a quick shake will remove the water droplets, so even if it gets wet, you can quickly fold it up and carry it compactly. You can wash it at home and it won't wrinkle easily, so you can use it easily.

It is durable and has just the right amount of firmness and crispness to the touch, and is also recommended for use as a stole.
